Job Description

Position: Despatch Warehouse Operator

Location: Flintshire

Hours: 24/7 shift rota

**Salary**: £25,842p/a

Due to growth and expansion our client a manufacturing company in Deeside are looking for a Despatch Warehouse Operative with a current FLT licence.

Job role:
The objective of this role is to ensure all print and coating machinery is supplied with materials on a daily basis, ensures deliveries are unloaded safely and stored correctly in warehouse and customer delivery times are met.- Supply material to all coating and printing machinery.- Stock picking.- Load and unloading of deliveries.- Use of in house computer systems (training will be given).- Efficient and effective use of time and materials.- Maintaining Health & Safety within department.- Assist with general housekeeping to ensure the warehouse is clean, safe and operating to maximum efficiency.

Qualification and Skills:
- FLT counterbalance license Flexi, Preferred but not essential- Able to work 24/7 shift pattern.- Good communication skills.- PC knowledge ideal.- Able to work under own initiative.- Experience of warehouse administration and despatch- Experience of stock management and control- Experience of working with internal and external customers and suppliers and hitting deadlines on a regular basis- Experience of quality, health, safety and environmental standards and practices within a warehouse environment- Ability to contribute to CI and other improvement initiatives.- Used to using own initiative to resolve issues or seek appropriate advice- Strong attention to detail - able to check plans, job numbers, transport schedules etc and flag any issues spotted
