DIG International Group Limited is an international civil engineering contractor operating in the UK and Sierra Leone, West Africa. We are a new and expanding company and have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement and Logistics Administrator to join our team.

Reporting to the Procurement and Logistics Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the procurement process. You will be assisting the Procurement team to secure materials packages on time and within budget, for a variety of civil engineering and mining projects of values ranging from £500,000 to £50 million. You will also assist the Logistics team with administrative duties to ensure the materials procured are shipped to their final destination.

You will be responsible for:

- Ensuring the procurement schedule is up-to-date
- Ensuring the logistics schedule is up-to-date
- Booking goods received notes into the procurement portal
- Building relationships with suppliers
- Assisting with tender pricing
- Assisting with preparing shipping documentation for international freight (sea & air)

In addition, you will provide assistance to the Procurement and Logistics Manager with:

- Checking requisitions to ensure accuracy
- Submitting enquiries to suppliers
- Reviewing quotes within budgets
- Processing orders
- Liaising with site management regarding order requirements

Full training and support will be provided.
- **About you**:_

You will have a keen interest in the construction/mining industry and be passionate about developing a career within Procurement. You will ideally have previous administration experience and will be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

You will also have:

- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Highly developed analytical and numerical skills
- Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a pressurised environment
- Ability to work on own initiative unsupervised
- Computer literate and conversant in the use of software packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Driving license (essential)

This position is based in our Llanelli office.
