**Title**:General Assistant**

Part time weekends and occasional weekday Wednesday to Friday

PLEASE NOTE - This is NOT a job that involves child care

This role would suit applicants with a strong, energetic and out going personality

PAY RATE;
17 - 20 year old staff members are paid £7.50 per hour

**Job Dimensions**:

- Whilst at work, you will at all times have a happy, smiley, outgoing positive and friendly strong personality
- Be able to communicate effectively with all Customers from small children to adults and be able to project your positive personality
- Maintain a cheerful, smart, positive and professional personal image at all times
- YOU MUST be self motivated, and be able to learn multiple tasks and skills
- Be physically able to enter and inspect the entire climbing frame on a daily basis

**Key Job Roles**:

- Serving customers throughout the business
- Meeting and greeting customers whilst working in the front reception and taking orders and serving food and drink at the cafe counter
- Working with tills, which include handling cash and taking card payments
- Serve food and drink to the Customers table
- When you have completed the appropriate training, operating and supervise the Go-Karts on the Go-Kart track and Laser Tag in the laser zone
- After the appropriate training, to host all aspects of children’s parties which can include setting up the party room(s), serving food and drink at the party table, ensuring birthday cake is delivered in a timely manner. Cleaning down the party room once complete

Assist where necessary in the kitchen area for the preparation of basic food
- Daily cleaning tasks throughout your shift, clearing/cleaning down tables, chairs, hoovering and tidying all areas and particularly at close of play for a full shut down
- Check toilets periodically, replenish any items as required, clean as necessary
- Working occasional evening shifts to assist with the supervision of private hire parties and ticket only events

**Please Note**:

- This role would NOT suit persons with allergies triggered by working environments with dust content
- This role would NOT suit persons of a quiet disposition who dislikes loud noises

This role would NOT suit persons that are not able to speak up and be clearly heard in a busy noisy environment, delivering Health & Safety briefings
- This role involves physical work and many periods of standing and walking

Job Types Available: Part-time weekend with occasional week days Wednesday to Friday, and all school/Bank Holiday cover
