Part Time (18.75 hpw), Permanent

We have fabulous job opportunity for you to join our awesome team. We support our brilliant customers with tenancy related issues to help them on their journey towards independence.

Our residents live in a self-contained property in the Leam Lane area and our team support with various tasks to ensure residents are equipped to hold an independent tenancy.

You’ll be our Housing and Property Guru Focussing on tenancy support, you’ll provide a housing management service to our customers, supporting them to manage their tenancy and rent accounts. You’ll also help our customers with their housing benefit claims and making sure that these are received on their rent account.

You’ll turn around vacant bed spaces so that new customers who need our help can move in quickly. You’ll also make sure our service achieves maximum occupancy, and that we are health and safety compliant

**About you**

You’re passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. You’ll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds. You will have some experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, support plans, alongside working collaboratively.

As Housing Management Coordinator you’re experienced in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties. You know all about re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed. You’re great at managing your own time and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe)

As this is a community-based role, you’ll need to travel around to spend time with your customers. You could do this role using public transport, or if you drive and have access to a car that would also be amazing (we pay your expenses to cover this use)
- When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one._

You’ll be working alongside our fabulous team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements. To us were not just a team we’re a ‘work family’.

Our manager is Kate who is Madonna mad and has worked at Home Group for 9 years within a variety of roles. There are 6 of us in the team and we don’t just love to support our customers, we’re there for each other too We have Sonia, our resident singer, Karen our work Mam, Gemma our Void’s queen and Chloe our tap-dancer, then there is Keith, our on-site Handy Person, a major NUFC fan.

**Working hours**

Our service is open Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and you will** **work on a rota basis between the hours. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you
