Our prop house has grown to such a level in the last few years, we are almost doubling the size of our creative team to meet the demand of our busy event calendar. We are now considered to be one of the largest event companies in the South East.

**Job description**

Are you a creative person and want to work with likeminded people?

As Team Leader, you will spend your day with the team creating stunning wedding and unique event décor for our wide variety of clients at their chosen venues.

Having a good eye for detail and staying up to date with latest trends is very important to us. Therefore, we require passionate, enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to help contribute to pushing boundaries in the industry.

You will be given an allocation of 60 weddings/events per year, where you will be solely in charge of your allocated bookings. You will also take charge of scheduling prep and admin days where you will liaise with clients ahead of their big day.

**Role expectations and requirements**:

- Working closely with our Sales Manager is a big aspect of this role. There will be times where you will assist with appointments and meet clients at our showroom here in Essex. With your creative flare, you will need to have the ability to take a client’s ideas and turn it into a reality. By using their vision, you will be able to put together a bespoke design package for their chosen venue and bring it to life.
- Organisation - every week you will schedule in prep and admin days to ensure that you are ready for your upcoming weddings/events.
- Attention to detail is a big element of the Team Leader's role. When on site, you will give direction to the styling team and make sure all elements of the design are perfect. Standing back and overseeing the team is really important to ensure we get all the details right for our clients.
- Excellent communication skills. Using these skills you will be able to transform a client's dream into reality and give leadership to your fellow staff.
- Flexibility. We have events on throughout the week as well as on weekends and bank holidays.
- Polite & well presented
- Able to manage a team
- Experience in Weddings & Events is essential for this role
- Floristry experience is an advantage but not completely necessary

**Specifics**:
Must have a UK Driving licence and access to own car due to rural location of warehouse/office.

You must be able to drive our company van to events

**Salary**:
£23,000.00

**Working Hours**:
40 hours a week

Flexible. Includes weekends, weekdays and Bank Holidays.

**Job Types**: Full time - please note that this is a fixed 12 month contract with the intention to renew the contract for another 12 months.
