**Responsibility of Team Leader**
- Plan Shifts with Residential Support Workers,
- Managing all risks safely
- Hold team meetings regarding the plans for the day
- Report and document on the progress of the young person
- Review care plans
- Attend staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model
- Act as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positive parenting model
- Work with young people using positive support strategies including de-escalation tools and techniques using in-house training (PRICE)
- Provide positive parenting

**Requirements for Team Leader**
- Experience in a Team Leader position or 12 Months in a Senior Residential Support Worker position
- Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Exceptional communication skills
- Sound working knowledge of current legislation e.g., Children's Homes Regulations 2015 (including quality standards)
- Be open minded, empathetic in a calm and professional manner
