**Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Reactive Maintenance - Cambridge - Permanent**

A well-respected local property maintenance company based in Cambridge are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer covering the Cambridgeshire area. They work with several letting agencies around Cambridge maintaining their property portfolios.

**As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be expected to**:

- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to residential premises
- Carry out carpentry works such as fencing, doors, skirting, door handles, etc
- Be able to carry out general maintenance tasks such as taps, locks, toilets etc
- Be able to work independently
- Willing to take on a variety of maintenance tasks to a good standard
- Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner

**The Maintenance Engineer you will have the following skill set and experience**:

- Ideally have a background of plumbing or carpentry
- Previous experience in a similar role
- City and Guilds in Carpentry, or; City and Guilds in Plumbing, but with carpentry skills
- General maintenance skills
- Good, friendly communication skills as this is a client facing role
- Good knowledge of working in domestic premises
- Driving licence as this is a mobile role around Cambridge

**As a Maintenance Handyman, you will be entitled to the following salary and benefits**:

- 30-34k per annum
- Opportunity to work for a well-respected local property maintenance firm
- They will provide a sign written company van with fuel card, PPE, Uniform, Tablet and associated tools
