My client, a prestigious and renowned not-for-profit organisation based in Liverpool city centre is looking to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner.
Reporting into the Head of HR Business Partnering, you will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders offering advice and guidance on how to develop HR strategies to help achieve departmental goals and enhance performance, including resource planning,talent retention and management and employee engagement to name but a few.
This is a fantastic opportunity to truly partner and engage with senior stakeholders and to help encourage and facilitate cultural and organisational change.
Key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:

- Deliver and implement appropriate HR strategies and policies to proactively support the business objectives and any objectives within the wider HR team.
- Work and lead on HR projects as advised by the Head of Business Partnering.
- Embed and promote EDI through systems and service delivery.
- Advise managers on and deliver change programmes including business transformation TUPE and Restructures.
- Work with the L&D manager to identify training programmes that will support managers and employees.
- Develop and use HR metrics to provide actionable insights to help departments make decisions.
- Ensure effective and regular communications through partnering with managers on important changes, achievements and opportunities using the insight from the data.
- Identify key areas of improvement to help increase performance, engagement and employee journey.
- Work in partnership with managers to develop people /talent plans to improve business performance, workforce planning, employee engagement and performance management and EDI within their areas.
- Coach and build the capability of managers to anticipate and manage people issues.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex HR cases.
Key requirements for the HR Business Partner:

- It is essential that you are an experienced HR professional who has developed and implemented HR strategies.
- You must have previously worked as a HR Business Partner or in similar senior HR role.
- Ideally you will have gained similar experience working within a Higher Education organisation.
- You must be confident and experienced influencer who can effectively collaborate with a wide and diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ideally you will have a mixture of both public sector/not-for-profit with commercial experience. However, this is not essential.
- You will have a solid understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion issues.
- You will be strong communicator who likes to challenge the status quo.
- You will have the ability to work autonomously as well as working and contributing to a wider HR team.
