- Hampshire County Council is recruiting a **Community Engagement Ranger **within the **Countryside Service.**
- Joining an **Area Access Team** covering the South West of the County, you will develop, coordinate and support a programme of activities on** public rights of way,** areas of open country and other forms of public access to the countryside.- You will be expected to develop partnerships and build opportunities for local communities and user groups to improve access to the countryside. With significant experience of public **engagement** in a countryside related discipline, you will hold a full driving license and use of a vehicle and be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the role.You will be expected to proactively prepare and contribute to an agreed programme of work across the county, having a flexible approach to work both as part of a team and independently.
