**About the Hotel**
Atrium Hotel Heathrow has a new and exciting opportunity for a professional Night Receptionist. Just one stop from Heathrow Airport, Atrium Hotel Heathrow is an urban retreat offering 570 ultra chic bedrooms with delectable culinary offerings through multiple Food & Beverage outlets, sizeable event spaces and exquisite wellness like swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and the fitness centre.
**About Night Receptionist Role**
We are looking for a receptionist that understands what it takes to be the best and preferably with proven success in a similar environment. Applicants for the post will demonstrate flexibility with work hours as this position will involve shift patterns. Night Receptionist role is a Casual Hour Contract.
**The successful Night Receptionist will undertake the following duties**:
- Fully responsible for ensuring that we meet our guests’ expectations - from arrival, to departure and return
- Providing excellent customer service, in line with Atrium Hotel Heathrow standards
- To coordinate with housekeeping department in order to ensure the guest requests are achieved in timely manner
- To be conversant with special promotions and room selling techniques and promote hotel services like breakfast, hotel hoppa bus bookings, dinner and room upselling
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures while communicating with guests and quoting the rates
- To perform cashiering tasks as and when required
- To balance the day’s postings, receipts, cash and credit card payments to the computer print outs at the end of the shift and operate the computer with its automatic Night Audit system to produce balanced daily results.
- To share the communications with the guests in timely manner as and when any communication is received for the guest
- Ensure that guest parking services and charges are communicated to the guests
**Skills and requirements**
- Exceptional customer care skills.
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues across the hotel
- Able to work on Weekends and flexibility with the time schedule
- Constantly improve knowledge and show a desire to learn, attend company’s trainings
- Take a responsible approach towards timekeeping and attendance to ensure the department runs efficiently, and assist in the event of absence cover
- Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment to every task undertake
- Good communication skills both written and spoken
- Proficiency in English language is strongly preferred
- Opera PMS system experience is preferable
- Previous experience in hotel environment is preferable but not essential
