**Role and Responsibilities**:

- consult with customers, suppliers, and transport companies
- coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods
- use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, and environmental objectives are achieved
- have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
- coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
- keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
- plan future capacity requirements
- organise the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- motivate, organise, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets achieved or exceeded
- consult with team leaders and manufacturing/purchasing schedules daily
- maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene/cleanliness, and security in the work environment (inside and out)
- oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- where appropriate, oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems
- manage daily run sheets ensuring compliance to our POD process
- arrange/manage stock checks when required
- Ensured stock replenishment is efficient and rapid with all products aligned, neat, and tidy
- Undertaking a H&S and Environmental committee role specific to your Zone
- Any other fair requests given by your Line Manager
- Perform regular FORS toolbox talks
- Manage, arrange, and execute FORS training
- Hold monthly FORS performance meetings with drivers using Velocity Telematics reporting
- Maintain FORS Workspace Boards to ensure required information is captured on time and in full
- Champion ISO9001 & ISO14001 ensuring you and your team work to and within the standard
- Ensure company policies, processes, and procedures are adhered to always
- Actively contribute to the continual improvement of the organisation
