Warehouse Supervisor

We are working with a well established client located in Andover, our client is looking for a warehouse supervisor to join their team.

The salary for this role is £28,000.

**Afternoon Warehouse Operation**
- Check all pallets are wrapped in the correct manner.
- Coordinate line up of pallets by postcode.
- Ensure all pallets are loaded accurately on the correct vehicles and loads secured.
- PPT License required.
- Ensure that effective communication processes are in place to promote the regular and effective communication to the team.
- Ensure the correct standards of work are maintained and assist with continuous improvement initiatives which will benefit the operation and our customer.

**General**
- Ensure the high level of Health, safety, and welfare of all self and others through adherence to the Health and Safety statement and policy.
- Always adhere to all relevant warehouse standard operating procedures and safe systems of work.
- Keep work area and yard area clean and tidy and clean as you go.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
- Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
- To perform any reasonable request.

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience of X - Dock operation
- Experience of working with 3PL customers
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work to time sensitive deadlines and prioritise work.
- Good decision-making skills
- An understanding of a target driven environment
- Good numeracy, spoken and written communication skills.
- IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Warehouse and Transport Management Systems)
- PPT License advantageous
- Ability to follow and adhere to instructions.
- Able to pay strict attention to detail.
- Ability to build a partnership with customer
