**GENERAL SUMMARY**

Work as part of the UK HR team to provide a comprehensive HR Generalist Support and Leadership covering the Celeros UK sites including Cathcart, Hillington, Aberdeen Service Centre, the GD Closures manufacturing facility located in Worksop, the Copes Operations team based in Winsford and all non-Commercial field-based employees throughout the UK in the following key areas:

- Lead on all aspects of Employee Experience, including the full employee life cycle
- When required, represent the HR function on site leadership meetings and events.
- Employee Relations: supporting line managers to deliver effective and positive ER outcomes.
- Work in business partnership with nominated line managers and appointed training colleges as a team to manage the Celeros apprentice programmes across applicable UK sites ensuring the apprentices have appropriate college and on the job support and development to meet their training module objectives.
- Ensure all business change projects are delivered in line organisational project plan targets
- Work closely with all levels of the business to drive HR business strategy, including senior levels of management at Site Lead and leadership team level.

**PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Face to face support to senior leaders to devise and implement thorough people strategies that drive key bottom-line results for UK sites including but not exhaustive to; annual Site Communication Plans, Succession and Talent Management Planning and if required, assist the Senior HR Manager, to devise and review Strategic Workforce Plans for some of the UK sites.
- Ensuring that successions plans are robust and meet the needs of the business going forward including rolling demographic plans, “High Potential’s”, covering “single points of failure” and Talent Management for Worksop, Winsford, and “field sites”.
- Provide UK wide manager support to for employee life cycle processes [for example, including merit, goals setting, talent reviews and employee development plans].
- Primary point of contact representing the company on Employee Relations issues and communications within departments/areas of responsibility across all sites.
- Work in partnership with business leaders, in line with changing market requirements, to provide full HR advice for business strategies; for example, company / functional restructures, reductions in force including protected conversations where required especially for the Worksop, Winsford and field-service sites but also supporting, when needed, for Cathcart, Hillington and Aberdeen sites.
- Where appropriate, recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions in cooperation with hiring managers - coaches managers to become proficient in hiring activity.
- Manage the HR Support for the annual pay planning process including the training and support for all managers across each site with specific support to Worksop, Winsford and UK “field” based employees and assisting the Senior HR Manager for Cathcart, Hillington and Aberdeen when required.
- Develops and monitors on-going employee development programs utilising internal and external resources such as continuing formal education, internal workshops, and periodic presentations. Implements and actively supports programs including annual talent processes and leadership development.
- Supports the Senior HR Manager to assess and makes recommendations on compensation plans and structures. Validates internal practices using local market data to maintain market competitiveness. Monitors incentive plans for effectiveness and appropriateness.
- Works with local management on employee performance issues and where necessary; prepares documentation for HR and legal review as required. Coaching leaders and managers to enhance performance, engagement, and wellbeing of their team members.
- Where required, actively participates as member of local management teams in management of business and operations.
- Manage the local apprenticeship programme at each site including promoting each programme locally with the help of site line managers and local training colleges.
