Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all linens and towels.

**Duties**:

- Sort, wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens and towels according to established procedures
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain inventory of clean linens and restock supplies as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Prepare linen bags for each property.
- Keep the laundry area clean and well organised to ensure smooth running.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as assigned

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry is essential
- Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment is required
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Hours:

- We can offer part time or full time hours with additional hours being available during busy periods.
- We work a rota pattern over 7 days, and you will be required to work some weekend shifts.
- Busiest days in the laundry are Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Landlords' Little Helper is an Edinburgh based company, we focus on cleaning and maintaining holiday let apartments across the city and East Lothian. We have a large portfolio and are busy all year around, although the summer months are of course our busiest. We have recently brought our linen service inhouse and are looking to hire individuals who can bring some experience and expertise to help us grow and provide a better service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
