We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Mental Health Advisers to join our vibrant Wellbeing team within the Student Support & Success Department. The purpose of the department is to support student retention, achievement and satisfaction by providing a range of services to enhance student wellbeing and ensure that all students have access to a range of support appropriate to their needs. The Wellbeing Team encompasses student advice and guidance, mental health interventions and short-term services. The aim is to ensure that services are visible, effective and tailored to the needs of our student community. The Service makes a key contribution to the University’s mission to support all students, whatever their background, to reach their full potential.
The Mental Health Adviser is an expert clinician from a Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Health, or equivalent background - Responsible for the coordination and management of complex mental health student cases related to conditions or diagnosis. The role involves managing a caseload and supporting students who are high risk. We are looking for someone who is passionate, motivated and a team-player.
