Brook Street (UK) Limited is working on behalf of our client in Derry/ Londonderry to recruit a new Full time and Permanent Receptionist

The Receptionist role provides efficient, professional Reception services relating to welcoming plant visitors, switchboard operation, and miscellaneous administrative duties, reporting directly into the HR Business Partner.

**In this role you are responsible for**:
Ensure that safe working practices are always adhered to, including wearing PPE as appropriate. Acquire knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, work instructions, and associated documentation. Comply with all Health & Safety Policies and instructions and actively contribute to Company efforts to promote safe behaviour and safe systems of work.
Operate the company Switchboard in a polite, effective, and efficient manner.
Take and relay messages to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to queries from employees, visitors, contractors, and job applicants.
Book Conference Rooms for Meetings and Customer Visits.
Control visitor entry at gate. Greet and receive visitors (including contractors), ensure sign in, issue badges, ensure visitors understand Company procedures (plant safety etc.), notify host and order catering for visits and meetings.
Track and maintain visitor confidentiality forms.
Complete other administrative tasks as requested by the Human Resources Business Partner.
Always supervise reception area ensuring Reception area and meeting rooms are kept clean, tidy, and organised.
Manage Pro-watch system.
Prepare and arrange collection/posting of all outgoing mail, Royal Mail, FedEx, TNT etc. Open/distribute incoming mail/parcels, and faxes to appropriate employees. Record cheques received.
Maintain and publish an up-to-date internal telephone list and contact names/numbers at Nelipak Derry. Keep a log of useful numbers and addresses.
Book transport/hotel arrangements for visits to/away from the plant as required.
Order in house catering as and when required.
Log usage of Company cars.
Log Fair Employment Monitoring Forms
Provide administration support to the HR Department and Business Partner.
Performs other duties as assigned. Will include participating in special projects as identified.

**Essential Criteria**:
GCSE Math's and English or equivalent
2 years' previous administration experience.
Organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Must have a pleasant personality and professional manner to create a positive corporate image.

**Desirable Criteria**:
Previous experience working in a receptionist role preferred.
