Accounts Assistant

Ideal Accounts role for a **numerate Graduate** (Accounts / Maths etc) looking for a career in Accounts, possibly considering studying AAT. **Based 5 days in the office near Oxford Circus.**
Our client is one of London's most prestigious Property Investment businesses with an impressive £1-2bn property portfolio. You will learn from qualified and part qualified Accountants in the team, working closely with the Group Financial Controller and Credit Control Manager.
This Client Accounts Assistant role will include:
- Processing new clients/tenants and leavers and lease renewals in the Property Accounts system
- Raising invoices for rent, service charges and tenant contributions
- Bank reconciliations and processing accounts receivable / sales ledger receipts on the system
- Processing inter-account bank transfers and taking credit card payments when required
- Processing new tenant deposits and deposit returns to departing tenants
- Liaising with lettings department, building managers and dealing with ad-hoc tenant queries
- Ad-hoc assistance to Credit Control Manager and Group Financial Controller
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be regularly liaising with staff across the business. **Excellent Excel skills are required together with a strong aptitude for numbers and accounts.**
This Accounts Assistant role (Client Accounts Assistant / Accounts Receivable) will suit someone considering studying AAT and then progressing in 1-2 years to a wider role in accounts.
