With a dedicated in-house Training Academy, Cardiff Bus are ready to welcome you to our team whether you hold a full bus licence or not, we are poised and ready to teach you everything you need to know.

**This is a full-time permanent position working 39 hours a week**

**Salary**

Training hourly rate of **£12.50**

Qualified hourly rate of **£13.82** (Monday to Friday)

Enhanced rates on the weekend of up to **£20.66**

**The role**

We are looking for people with the passion and experience of delivering excellent customer service; You will also be required to
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus.
- Collect fares and issue tickets or receipts as necessary.
- Communicate with passengers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow designated routes and schedules.

**What you need**
- Valid driver's license held for a minimum of 12 months
- Have no more than 6 Points
- Regular confident driver
- Previous experience as a bus driver, delivery driver, or van driver is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong attention to detail
