Firefly are currently working with a fast paced business in London to recruit a Finance Operations Manager on a 3 month contract to cover sick leave. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to join the controlling function and supportus to deliver on the areas that will inform our current and future ways of working. Everyone in the team gets to work on strategic initiatives but also rolls up their sleeves to do what’s needed to deliver great work There will be some work that is more drivenby the day to day but also some great opportunities to plan, own and drive the things that our people deem to be value-add.

**The Role**
- Build and manage the teams responsible for the accounting operations of OTC
- Create and implement systems and processes to ensure smooth running of the day-to-day operations of OTC.
- Heavy involvement in new ERP system hypercare after system roll out
- Assist the Controller with completing month-end close in an accurate and timely manner
- Accrue and prepay necessary costs during month-end close
- Actively participate in the month-end balance sheet reconciliation process for operations related accounts
- Uphold a strong financial control and process environment
- File VAT/Intrastate reporting correctly before deadline
- Track and report relevant KPIs for Billing and Collections

**About You**
- Extensive experience managing and running accounting operations
- Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) experience preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant KPIs
- History of implementation and maintenance of best-in-class operating procedures
- Understanding of revenue recognition rules
- Effective communicator
- Fast learner with the ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment
- Highly organized with an ability to drive projects to completion independently with a strong attention to detail
- Highly deadline driven
