Interim Finance Manager - FinTech Digital Banking

6 months

£400-450p/d Inside IR35

Central London Based (Hybrid)

Start Date: ASAP

Talentedge are working with fast-paced and scaling Digital Banking FinTech, who as they are continuing to grow are seeking an experience Interim Finance Manager to join their team. In this role you will play a critical role in supporting the businesses finance function. Reporting into the FD, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, driving process improvements, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and results-driven individual who is immediately available or on short-notice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Own the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare financial analysis and business cases to support strategic initiatives, including new product launches, partnerships, and investments.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification with at least 3+ years PQE
  • Previous experience working within FinTech/FS or a FCA regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing financial operations, leading month-end close processes, and driving process improvements.
