The Bowel Cancer Screening Programme based at QMC currently invites over 1 million people aged 56 - 74 across the East Midlands and East of England to take part in screening each year. This service is still expanding and we are looking to widen the screening age to all those aged 50 - 59 by 2025. We also offer a symptomatic service to patients, via their GPs across the east Midlands area. Both services help detect bowel problems and early cancers; the work you do means lives are saved. In fact people often get back in touch to thank us for the work we do.

Due to the ongoing service expansion, we have a new governance and administration facilitator role available in the Department. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join us and provide service delivery, operational management support to the department’s operational team and assist in the delivery of our quality-driven, cost-effective, patient-focused service.

This is an exciting role where your work will help us continue to save lives.
