**Auction Photographer and Shipping Assistant**

Our small and friendly team is recruiting for the role of Auction Photographer and Shipping Assistant who will be responsible for the timely imaging and dispatching of auction lots.

**Auction Lot Photographer**
- Responsible for the digital imaging of lots for our auctions using a variety of photographic equipment, ensuring fast image throughput.
- Action client requests for further images
- Weighing lots so postage costs can be calculated.

**Shipping Assistant**
- Assist the Shipping Manger with the picking, packing and posting of auction lots
- Provide holiday cover for the Shipping Manager

The workload is cyclical, the period before an auction is posted online is extremely busy, with a high volume of images to be created and uploaded to our website.

The role also involves supporting the Shipping Manager as required and in the period immediately following an auction, you will be exclusively focussed on shipping to ensure lots are promptly dispatched.

During less busy periods you may also be asked to provide general administrative support as needed.

You will be required to assist at public auction events (currently four a year) which will involve working on a on Saturday.

Your profile - we anticipate you will be someone who takes pride in giving exceptional service to all customers. You may already have demonstrated an interest in visual media privately, educationally or already be working in this field. You will receive full training for the role and will also gain insight on the operation of an auction house. We will support you to take full ownership of this role and you will be encouraged to work on your own initiative to achieve volume and quality targets.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £15,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week
