The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for supporting the commercial running of a national technical hard services contract for the Scottish Police Authority in Scotland. The role will be based in Scotland and will be part of a high performing technical engineering service provider.

**Job Title: Graduate Surveyor**
**Salary: Competitive**
**Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 16:30**
**Location: Glasgow**
**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Commercial surveying and valuation of maintenance, reactive and project works of the contract in accordance with schedule of rates.
Co Ordinate commercial and contractual matters with client’s procurement team and supply chain.
- Compile and gather the necessary data and information required for monthly reports.
- Review, analyze and audit supplier quotations including materials, equipment, rates, scope of works.
- Conduct post works invoice auditing.
- Oversee supply chain performance management, negotiations, and payment process.
- Conduct schedule of rate reviews and benchmarking for national supply chain partners.
- Conduct site visits pre and post works for validation and reporting.
- Provide reporting of Suppliers’ performance against KPI’s.
- Support capital project work packages, valuation process and associated tasks.
- Undertake risk reviews of Contract Terms and Conditions identifying any risks, mitigation and opportunities against the current delivery model.
- Provide contractual advice and support to the operational team and co-ordinate responses to any contractual queries where required.

Excellent communication skills including presentation and written report writing.
- Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel, Power BI and Word.
