**1. The Company**

Centurion Corporation Limited owns, develops and manages quality, specialised accommodation assets globally, including purpose-built workers accommodation assets in Singapore and Malaysia, and purpose-built student accommodation assets in Singapore, Australia, the United Kingdom (“UK”), the United States (“US”) and South Korea.

Our student accommodation business is branded as dwell Student Living and we currently manage 21 PBSAs globally. The Group’s 10 assets in the UK are located in the established education precincts of Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Bristol and Nottingham which provide easy access to the cities’ main university campuses and the city centres.

In the UK we are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to work at our largest student property of over 1000 beds. This site is located in Manchester City Centre and is also the home to our UK Head Office.

**2. The Role**
- To ensure a clean, safe and pleasant environment for students, employees and visitors.
- To assist the accommodation/maintenance team when required.
- To ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the accommodation.
- To ensure all repairs and maintenance requirements are reported.

**3. Job Accountabilities**
- To prepare accommodation for new occupants.
- To identify and report any maintenance issues.
- To ensure each student block is cleaned to a good standard.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment working within all regulatory and legislative guidelines.
- Maintaining the court yard and bin store is clear of any rubbish, waste or broken object.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry room and reporting any issue that become apparent with the machines.
- Making sure all bins are emptied following the correct waste management system.
- Ensure that all services meet Centurion Student Services specified standards and service levels.
- Liaise with the Accommodation Manager for ordering of cleaning materials and ensuring the replenishment of all cleaning products.
- To ensure that all Health and Safety rules and regulations pertaining to hygiene and cleanliness are adhered to.
- To implement issues arising from Health and Safety inspections within an agreed timescale as directed by the Management team.
- To work within all company policies and procedures.

**Additional duties**
- To support the maintenance team with any small maintenance jobs that might arise, ie painting, changing light bulbs.
- To provide additional support to the accommodation team with the preparation of the buildings summer turner around.
- To support holiday cover when needed and work additional hours on are key check in and check out dates.
- To assist the accommodation staff with carrying out termly inspections.
- To support the team with the weekly fire testing.
- To assist with any student issues when required in a respectful professional manner.
- To maintain the security of the building and the student following the data protection guidelines.
