- Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for a Caretaker for our client based within a Primary school hospital, based in the Manchester area. The role as Caretaker is a part-time role (6 hours a day) offering an hourly rate of £17 per hour.
- **As a School Caretaker, your role will include but not be limited to**:

- The role would involve being a key holder responsible for closing the school site.
- There will also be a requirement for undertaking basic maintenance and cleaning duties
- Procure resources for cleaning and maintenance
- Carry out statutory duties linked to health and safety and maintenance
- keep our clients school building and grounds hygienic, clean and safe.

**Requirements**:

- Minium of 12-month experience required working as a Caretaker within a school or similar environment.
- Albe to perform general maintenance within the school and deal with any outside contractors.
- We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of our partnering schools children and young people and they expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
- To be a team player
- To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
- Good listening and rapport building ability
- To be able to organize and prioritise your time

**Hours of work: Monday to Friday 12 noon - 6pm**
