We are a local food manufacturing organisation in West Yorkshire that supplies Salad and Mayonnaise products to retail and Food to Go sectors. Our organisation is fast-paced, exciting, dynamic and we are recruiting for a new position within our Commercial Team.

As Commercial Executive you will work to build excellent relationships both internally and externally. You will be involved in developing our current customer relationships and grow new customer opportunities. Supporting the Commercial Manager and Senior Commercial Manager with customer admin, analysis of sales data, create accurate reports for sharing cross functionally and developing customer business plans alongside the wider team.

Key Responsibilities will be to:

- Support the creation of yearly business plans for customers, identifying new opportunities and strategies for growth.
- Complete the Company's budget process and deliver the targets and growth targets set by the company
- Liaise with Buyers and cross functional customer teams to manage issues efficiently and effectively, communicating internally.
- Support through customer tender processes both internally and externally
- Deliver the Personal & Company objectives set by the Commercial Director, to be reviewed quarterly
- Track account performance monthly, using internal systems and identify and produce plans to rectify issues and create opportunities.
- Contribute to monthly reporting as presented at the Commercial Meeting.
- Work with the finance team on Forecasts and update on a Monthly and Quarterly basis
- Project manage the customer NPD process from submission to launch with the customers
- Support the delivery of cost increases as set by the Company.
- Support the production of a margin improvement plan working closely with the relevant departments
- Agree with the Commercial Manager and Director the key account objectives to be set with the budget and review quarterly
- Complete customer contact reports and follow up action points to the customer within 24 hours of meetings, managing through the actions with the business
- Investigate and solve customer problems, complaints and credit issues by liaising with all necessary departments
- Ensure all customer details are kept up to date in the system at all times.
- Understand the level of competition by utilizing GAP and SWOT analysis.
- Support the preparation of presentations as required to demonstrate progress and category growth opportunities to drive incremental volume and value for both the business and customer.
- Attend meetings with existing customers as required to develop and maintain good customer relationships
- Maintain effective communication with internal departments
- Support Commercial Managers / Directors with internal and Customer admin such as new line forms, costings, promotion analysis etc.

If you have worked in a food manufacturing environment that would be an advantage.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
