**Salary Range**: 55,000 - 70,000 USD Annually
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

**Responsibilities**:

- Edit news briefs about newly filed lawsuits in federal and U.S. state courts. Work quickly to improve content and correct errors based on source material
- Edit news briefs about recent corporate transactions
- Assist with essential data entry and data enrichment projects
- Collaborate with colleagues to share information, improve processes and overcome challenges

**Qualifications**:

- You are a strong writer with at least two years of professional experience in journalism, communications or a legal field.
- You have high standards and can work efficiently with mínimal supervision.
- You can write quickly and clearly without making errors. Even when juggling tasks, you have strong focus and attention to detail.
- You have an entrepreneurial, problem-solving spirit and thrive in a fast-paced news environment
- A law degree or legal background is a plus. Some news or copy-writing experience is preferred
