A day in the life of

As Reservations Agent you will be responsible for supporting the hotel pricing strategy, ensuring maximum revenue, market share and the successful conversion of reservation enquiries from individuals and groups into materialised bookings. You will help with the day-to-day relationships with local corporate bookers and utilise sales opportunities to maximise revenue.

Based in the Radisson Blu Cardiff City Centre you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.

The Radisson Blu Cardiff is an incredible 21 storey building in the heart of the Welsh capital offering spectacular views over the city and within walking distance of many of the City’s major attractions including Principality Stadium, Motorpoint Arena, Millennium Centre and Cardiff Castle.

Our 215 contemporary bedrooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. The Collage Restaurant offers a fresh, flavourful mix of British and Continental cuisine. Other facilities include the a Business Class Lounge, a Fitness Room and 6 versatile meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 320 people for private dining and 200 people for a conference.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.

Key responsibilities:

- Answer company phone line in a timely and professional manner
- Process guest enquiries and payments
- Provide excellent customer service
- Record reservation information accurately and inform other departments of VIP arrivals
- Complete arrival checks and sepcial requests

Experience and skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role advantageous
- Fantastic communication skills
- Computer literate
