Hill Park School is a three site (Primary/ Secondary) special school for pupils aged 4 - 16 years for pupils with needs ranging from moderate (MLD), severe (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Some pupils also have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum condition (ASC), complex medical needs or physical disabilities.

**About the role**:
Hill Park have opened an Extended Day club for their pupils, based at the Secondary site in Portslade, and are looking to employ Play Workers to work under the HPX Club Lead to care for and support pupils accessing play and leisure activities at the Club. The hours of work are 3.15pm - 5.45pm Tuesday, Wednesday /Thursday (applicants can work 1, 2 or 3 days a week).

We are a warm, friendly and welcoming school with a supportive and caring staff, who work closely as a team. Our after school club would be a great place for you to work if you:

- have patience and a calm manner
- have resilience and a commitment to meeting the needs of children with additional needs
- are an excellent team player who is flexible and shows an ability to recognise and respond to pupils’ needs
- The role may include providing personal care and if so full training will be provided.
