**What will you deliver?**

This is a key role in our Highways and Transport team, processing Traffic Regulation Orders.

The role is funded by the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) Capability Fund. The Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) mandate from Government states that all new cars will be zero emissions by 2035. As such, the number of publicly available chargepoints needs to increase in order to meet demand. Therefore a key aspect of the role will be to provide Traffic Regulation Orders to support Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects.

- Carry out investigations relating to the implementation of Traffic Regulation Orders.
- Develop and carry out public consultation in support of the TRO process.
- Develop and present recommendations to Council Committees.
- Draft legal orders.
- Supervise the installation of on-site signs and lining restrictions resulting from new or amended TROs.
- Prepare drawings and estimates for works orders.
- Assist with the preparation of temporary TROs when required.
- Provide a professional customer service function relating to all aspects of the traffic and road safety team, responding to requests for service and other queries from Elected Members, Parish Councils, senior client officers and members of the public.
