We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis with children with special needs. As a supply agency worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience working with children with a range of special educational needs.

This role will be working in a local primary school in the Neath & Port Talbot area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting children with special needs in their learning and development
- Providing one-to-one or group support to help children access the curriculum
- Helping to manage challenging behavior and promote positive behavior strategies
- Building positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and staff
- Following and implementing individual education and care plans
- Supporting children with personal care needs

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working with children with special educational needs
- Confident in supporting children
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different settings
