We are Essential Homecare a domiciliary care provider within the Wigan borough. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, patient and hardworking staff who can come and work alongside the owners to develop the service from the very beginning. We are open to hearing from those with and without previous healthcare experience who genuinely care, are good with people and are willing to learn. Essential Homecare will provide all training and resources needed to develop you as a care professional.
- **Excellent rate of pay** £11.00-£16.00, per hour
- **Mileage paid at 45p/mile**. In between visits

**Care worker responsibilities**:
As a care worker with Essential Homecare, you'll be out and about in the community, visiting clients to offer personal care in a safe, caring and professional capacity.

Duties can include:

- **Companionship** - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- **Personal care** - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
- **Help** with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- **Accompanying** to appointments or shopping.

It is **ESSENTIAL to **be a **driver with access to a vehicle insured in your name** with Class A Business Insurance

**Qualifications**:
**Formal care experience is not required. Experience is also welcomed.**

**If you do not have the Care Certificate, we will provide you access to complete this. The Care Certificate is the minimum requirement set by the Quality Care Commission**

It is **ESSENTIAL **be a **driver with access to a vehicle insured in your name** with Class A Business Insurance.

It is **ESSENTIAL** to speak English and have **GCSE level English or equivalent.**

It is **ESSENTIAL** to be resident within the Wigan borough.

**Formal care experience is not required** - we provide full training. Your passion for taking care of someone else and being friendly whilst staying professional. We require 2 references that will display that you are dependable, trust-worthy and respectful.

You must be over 18.
