We are looking to recruit an extremely professional, conscientious, calm and confident individual to lead our 24/7 switchboard/ reception team based at Hellesdon Hospital. You will be working closely with our already established switchboard/ reception team. This team covers the switchboard for the whole of the Norfolk & Suffolk foundation Trust.

The Norfolk & Suffolk foundation trust is looking for an extremely professional, conscientious, calm and confident individual to manage our knowledgeable 24/7 switchboard/ Reception Team Based at Hellesdon Hospital in Norwich.

This role is a very much hands on position managing the day to day running of the trusts main switchboard team.

Previous switchboard experience is essential, Ideally experience in managing a team. You will be working various shifts alongside your team across a 24/7 service.

You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Working on your own initiative and maintaining strict confidentiality are also essential.

**Main duties include**:
Working various shifts across 24/7 operating hours

Responsible for the daily supervision and management of all staff within the main switchboard areas for the Trust to include arranging duty rosters, arranging cover for absences, maintaining staff discipline and staff welfare, arranging staff training, checking and authorising staff time sheets and sickness notifications

Ensure that all daily duties of the main switchboard and reception are carried out fully including emergency calls diverted accordingly, distributing keys, Pool Cars, franking & fire panel monitoring, Dealing with Taxi bookings and will assist the Soft FM Service manager with the implementation of new procedures or duties as and when required.
