Darlington county council are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Adults Social Workers to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults in our community.

**Job Description**:
As an Adults Social Worker within our Learning Disabilities team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals with learning disabilities, their families, and carers. Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of adults with learning disabilities and developing care plans tailored to their individual needs.

Providing advocacy and support to empower individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure holistic support and access to services.

Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of support plans and making adjustments as necessary.

Safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting their rights and dignity.

**Requirements**:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in adult social care, preferably within the field of learning disabilities.

Strong assessment and case management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with service users.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to promoting independence, inclusion, and empowerment for individuals with learning disabilities.

Pay Rate:
£29 - 30 p/h (dependent on experience)
