We’re looking for a **Ganger** to join our Utilities (Water & Energy), National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) team where no two days are the same. Within this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme which will contribute to NGED's aim to provide power to the local community.

**Location**: Based from our Bristol depot

**Contract**: Permanent - Full time

**Salary**:Weekly paid, hourly rate** **£10ph to £16ph, dependant on experience

**Responsibilities**

As a Ganger for the National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) team playing a vital role in managing the team responsible for all stages of excavation works on site and aspects of digging & lay on the electricity networks.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Taking personal responsibility for Health & Safety performance, overall quality of work and meeting productivity targets.
- Communicating with the ganger and other colleagues as required updating them on progress
- Coordinating all site activities

**What are we looking for?**

This role of Ganger is great for you if:

- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
- Have a CSCS Card and EUSR Water Hygiene Trained (can obtained in the role)
