**Role Outline**

**We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workstation and Workplace Assessor to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis for 19 hours per week.**

**The Role**:

- Developing, managing and delivering WSA & WPA assessments remotely.
- Providing accurate assessment reports with appropriate recommendations.
- Providing a report to Management following assessment.
- Identification of hazards within the workplace and assessing the risk of the identified hazards causing or aggravating an individual’s musculoskeletal ill health.
- Conducting ergonomic risk assessments to identify risks to the employees within a specified area.
- Providing other team members with information regarding any work practice or working environment changes that are required on a short
- or long-term basis.
- Collection of statistical information for report generation.
- Contributint to and running health promotion events.
- Liaison and meetings as agreed with Health Partners Head of MSK Services.

**The Person**:

- Registered with the Health Care Professions Council or registered with an Ergonomic professional organisation.
- Minimum 2 years WSA/WPA experience
- Ideally, minimum 4 years Post Grad Experience
- Post-graduate training in Occupational Health/Ergonomics (desirable)
- Full Member of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health & Ergonomics (ACPOHE), RCO, CIEHF, HFES or other registered Ergonomic organisation (desirable)

**Skills**
- Ability to demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to work
- Conducting ergonomic assessments
- Health Promotion
- Knowledge of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions/injuries and treatment
- Report writing
- Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously and as part of the multidisciplinary OH team
- Strong commitment to customer focus and delivery of targets, with the ability to proactively recommend clinical improvements where appropriate

**Education & Qualifications**

Bachelors Degree in relevant field

**Salary**

The salary on offer for this role is up to £40,000 pro-rata to days worked, depending on qualifications and experience.

**Certifications**

HCPC registration or Full Member of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health & Ergonomics (ACPOHE), RCO, CIEHF, HFES or other registered Ergonomic organisation
