Source Kitchen arrived in St Ives three years ago, and what a time it's been We’re really passionate about British, local produce and using the best we can to deliver an amazing guest experience, that feels local, sustainable and exciting. We’ve already selected some incredible suppliers, like Wild Harbour who will provide local dayboat fish.

We’re called Source Kitchen, because we are so passionate about how and where we source our ingredients. We will be open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week in peak season and reduced nights in the lower season. Our current lease means have to have the restaurant empty by 10pm so no incredibly late nights for our team.

One of the things we’re really excited about is our wine, and drinks menu. We’ve developed a small wine list that will focus on some incredible British wines, as well as wines from Europe. And a small menu of artisan British spirits.

Given that we are so passionate about using local produce and incredible wines from no further than Europe, we’re obviously keen that our team all share this passion that they can pass on to our guests. We will be providing lots of training on all aspects of this to help you to talk to guests about our ethos and our products.

Covers: 36 - 42 (dependent on outdoor seating & covid restrictions)

Role and Responsibilities You will already have some front of house experience ideally, but if you don't, don’t be put off. We will provide full support and training to whoever we recruit. We want people that really want to give our guests a great experience when they visit us. We’ll train you on our service standards and on our food, drinks and wine menu. Our team taste all of our new dishes, so you know what you're selling As a member of the Front of House (FOH) team you’ll work with the owners to deliver the best possible guest experience.
- Develop a deep understanding of the products we provide and able to enthusiastically explain these to guests, in order to maximise guest experience
- Previous experience from a similar environment, with a passion to deliver a great guest experience.
- Provide feedback to the assistant manager, owners and chefs on guest feedback
- Make drinks for customers
- All front of house staff will be responsible for keeping FOH clean
