Lusona’s client, a long-established an dynamic professional services firm in Edinburgh, are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a HR generalist practitioner to oversee, develop and deliver their HRstrategy and manage a varied advisory caseload. The firm have a flexible, hybrid working policy with a minimum requirement to be in the office 1-2 days per week.

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, the HR manager will hold people management responsibilities for a close-knit team - including an HR Officer and support professionals. This is a rare multi-faceted opportunity that would suit a true HR generalistwho thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Providing support to the partnership team, including the Managing Partner, in relation to the firm’s HR strategy, providing regular reporting on all relevant HR and compliance matters
- Delivering strategic HR projects including professional talent development, health & wellbeing, and reward & benefit initiatives
- Working closely with management teams, providing guidance, coaching and training on HR matters - including absence, conduct and performance management
- Monitoring and reporting on the impact of HR initiatives on KPI’s, including staff turnover, promotions, sickness absence and recruitment practices
- Managing recruitment agency supplier list and operational coordination, ensuring cost-effective, best practice recruitment initiatives are followed
- Responding to ad-hoc client HR queries or providing necessary referral to external legal contacts
- Maintaining knowledge and adherence to legislative changes

Ideally, you will be an experienced HR Manager with CIPD qualification (or equivalent). Line management experience is essential, as are exceptional communication skills and influencing abilities. This role requires strong attention to detail, experienceof dealing with complex employee relations matters, and an ability to manage a varied and busy workload. Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering HR training would be highly advantageous.
