To provide a proactive and responsive first point of contact to staff contacting the ER Service Desk. To contribute to the achievement of the HR Teams KPIs and Trust targets around the workforce agenda. To handle high volume inbound calls. Contribute to the continuous improvement and updating of HR policies and procedures in line with current employment legislation.

To work with the Head of Employee Relations to support national initiatives and related matters. Provide a customer focussed, timely and efficient service to all client groups. Build, develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with staff and managers throughout the Trust. Provide routine advice, guidance and support to staff and managers regarding their understanding and interpretation of HR policies and practices.

Escalate complex HR cases/issues to senior members of the Team. Assist with the development and administration of the exception reportingprocess/systems. Administer, maintain and update relevant systems and databases e.g. ESR, service desk database systems.
