Gift Aid Administrator

I am currently working with a renowned Children’s charity to recruit for a **Finance Administrator** to support the Gift Aid Manager by administering the retail Gift Aid scheme.
Employment type: Permanent
Hours of work: Full time, Monday to Friday
Location: Remote working but will be required to work out of Essex based hub on an ad hoc basis.
**Role Profile**
- Main contact for all Gift Aid record amendments / queries from retail team, donors/customers and the wider charity, and update the Retail database accurately.
- Dealing with returns from mailings and making amendments on the system where necessary
- Use own initiative to check addresses and data using external databases such as royal mail postcode finder
- Provide information on trends and performance by running reports on data system
- Assist with software system changes as and when required
- Manage and maintain effective filing and archiving systems
**Experience**
- Relevant experience of providing administrative support in a business environment
- Experience of using Microsoft packages to run calculations
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment and the ability to multi-task
- Experience of planning and prioritising own workload and working to deadlines.
- Experience of working as part of a team
- The ability to deal with problems in timely manner, escalating where appropriate
