Responsible for efficient and effective control of all daily vehicle movements over the weighbridge and weigh the vehicles on and off. Interface with company and third-party drivers, processing their paperwork and take payment where necessary. Liaising and communicate with drivers throughout the working day and help to resolve any driver problems and queries as they arise as well as relaying information from the office to the drivers regarding any issues. Logging production figures around the production cycle of materials recycling facility operations. Ensuring Health, Safety, and environmental compliance. Maintaining first class customer service as per pre-defined business KPI’s.
- Managing all vehicles entering and exiting the depot, weighing their load, and recording data accurately, via Weighsoft and photos.
- Recording and calculating inputs and outputs, producing weighbridge tickets
- Collection and recording of cash payments received documented and reported to Head Office.
- Processing end of Day/Week/Month reports for the MRF Manager
- Assisting the MRFM on a day-to-day basis and with any specific task or projects assigned to include sales
- Checking customer waste carrier licences and maintaining the register and advising of permitted waste types
- Ensuring compliance with all current and impending legislation
- General office administration to include maintaining the training register and supporting other members of the team
- Assisting in resolving customer complaints
- Undertaking training to enable you to support the MRF Manager
- Being fully conversant with the site licence, working plan, and operational requirements of each site
- Daily checking of fuel levels RED/White Diesel supply the information to operations
- Liaise with other MRF team members keeping a steady flow of traffic moving by operating the hands-free radio and MRF CCTV.
- Developing knowledge of materials, and the recycling industry.
- Report any line plant issues, downtime, blockages, and key performance information to MRF Manager.
- Share and transfer knowledge to the team.
- Communicate ideas and key points/issues to MRF Manager and employees when applicable.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities in a timely manner
- Provide direction in respect of decision making
- Address any queries, problems and anomalies and proactively respond to changing conditions and requirements
- Liaise and maintain close communications with cross functions teams and key stake holders both internal and external.
- Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that the working environment is practical for both yourself and others.
- Participate in HSE audits and take or initiate appropriate corrective action
- Maintain good housekeeping, a healthy and safe work environment and the safe use of equipment and machinery
- Ensuring all areas of site office are clean, tidy and free from obstruction and during downtime cleaning your designated place and also be actively involved in the cleaning of the site facilities to include canteen, all toilets washrooms, upstairs offices and yard duties.

**Salary**: £21,174.40-£21,673.62 per year
