Fruit Logic are looking for committed and enthusiastic people to join their team as a Line Controller.

Working on a shift pattern of 4 days on 4 days off from 7am to 7pm The Line Controller is responsible for all aspects of a production line(s) to organise staff so that produce is packed efficiently against targets set by the business and according to the site’s quality, hygiene and safety procedures.

Responsibilities for the role include,
- **Staff control** - deployment of team to pack in the most efficient manner, to train, coach and mentor new staff so that they are welcomed into the teaM/Factory. To advise Team on a daily basis of the plan and feedback on performance throughout the shift, encouraging and motivating all members of the Team and highlight any training requirements.
- **Cost control** - Understand Cost Targets and ensure performance is tracked by using SIC and look for ways to improve performance. Monitor performance against plan and feedback to supervisory/management team any issues.

Ensure products are packed in accordance to the daily schedule to ensure Customer orders are completed in full and on time for out-loading.
- **Product Control**
- Carry out all quality control checks in adherence to ‘Product Quality Inspection Report’ and accurate printing and checking of product, case and pallet labels as per the labelling procedures.
- Responsible for setting and implementing weight control of the finished product, including making final weight records in line with weighing procedures.
- IFS Management of Shop orders, including ordering stock, finished pallet barcodes and balancing orders from both a raw material and packaging perspective.
- Effective administration of all paperwork
- GMP and technical standards of the line to ensure the site is Audit-Ready every day.

**Machinery Control**
- Responsible for the equipment on the line they are working on, adhering to Basic Safety Operating Guidance notes and Standard Operating Procedures, specifically:

- Inspection of the machine prior to start-up.
- Correct use and set-up for specific product
- Routine cleaning of the line and carry out basic equipment care
- Troubleshoot and solve simple problems.
- Run out the machine and safely shut it down at the end of a run or the shift.
- To escalate problems to Supervisors, Team Mangers or Engineers when needed

**Salary**: £24,090.00 per year
