**Description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the delivery of first-class ICT service support to a variety of customers.
- To escalate more complex issues to the second line support teams using the ICT Service Desk software, Ivanti.
- Document processes, maintain service desk records, and contribute to the co-creation of the service desk knowledge base.
- Make recommendations to prevent future or recurring technical issues and optimise the ICT performance within South Wales Police.

**Profile**
- Must have a good standard of education to at least GCSE A-C Level, including Maths and English, or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities.
- Must be a confident communicator in both written and verbal forms.
- Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

**Where you'll fit in**:
The ICT Service Desk Agent sits within the Service Delivery section of the department and reports to an ICT Service Delivery Analyst. This role is primarily based at our Headquarters in Bridgend, but we do support a hybrid working policy once initial traininghas been completed.
