The successful HR Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the wider HR Operations team and ensuring that the day to day operations of the team meet customer expectations. This role will be responsible for identifying, as well as implementing, processimprovements and service excellence and is the first and primary point of contact for escalations from the Payroll, Recruitment, HR Business Partner and Consultant teams.
**Client Details**
Our client, based in Leeds City Centre provide trading services for residents of the UK and the Channel Islands. They also provide services for companies that are looking to create programmes for their shareholders to meet business objectives.
They are now looking for a HR Team Leader to join them on a full time basis, for a 12 months FTC.
**Description**
The duties and responsibilities of the HR Team Leader will include:
- Delivering effective co-ordination/administrative activities in the following work streams: Employee Requests, Employee Movements, New Starters and Leavers, IT Security, IT Help, Internal Auditing, Policies & Processes and HR Information Systems
- Improve and maintain HR process excellence in line with team service level agreements
- Identify and implement process improvements within the HR Operations space
- Maintain relationships with and manage first level escalations from Payroll, HR Business Partners and Consultants
- Mentor, guide and manage the HR Coordinator team by setting clear expectations and goals, mentoring and providing feedback and identifying areas for capability development where possible
- Participate in the management of the Remuneration Framework by grading roles, and ensuring there is governance with regards to the development of new positions
**Profile**
The successful HR Team Leader will have:
- Demonstrable experience within a similar HR Operations role
- Strong operational management skills and experience in managing SLAs, completing customer demands and high volumes of work
- Strong knowledge and understanding of HR principles
- Excellent PC and Microsoft Office skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and work to SLA's
- Experience of using Oracle databases would be desirable but not essential
