**ACTIVITIES CO-ORDINATOR**
We are looking for an activities co-ordinator to join the team at Heathfield House. The posts is for 30 hours per week
We are looking for enthusiastic, well organised individuals who can plan, organise and implement a programme of activities tailored to our residents on an individual and group basis. Experience of organising and controlling a budget would be preferable as you will also be involved in organising trips and assisting residents with social outings as well as helping with fund raising activities.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Assess the individual needs of residents and provide appropriate, stimulating activities
- Compile monthly activity planner in conjunction with residents wishes and encourage residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies.
- Maintain full and accurate records of activities to monitor, record and evaluate outcomes for residents
- Organise special events/fundraisers such as summer fetes, coffee mornings within the home
- Assist in mealtime provision and provide sociable mealtime activities
- Foster good community relations e.g nursery school, choirs to improve and expand the quality of life for residents
- Communicate with the rest of the team and take part in resident reviews
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
