Supervising Social Worker

Derbyshire, United Kingdom NonStop Consulting Ltd Full time

**Title**:
(Senior) Supervising Social Worker - home based

Good Salary Package: up to £39,000 depending on experience

NonStop Care is currently working with an Independent Foster Care Charity in the East Midlands in order to help them recruit for a Supervising Social Worker role.

The role is permanent, completely home based and you would only be expected to travel to visit the foster families once a month, which means you will have the opportunity to improve your work-life balance.

**Responsibilities**:
The Supervising Social Worker will oversee small caseloads of around 10 foster carers that are located around Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

The role is mostly to provide and develop support and supervision, however for the Senior role you would also undertake the writing of Form F Assessments and present to the company's Fostering Independent Panel.

**Benefits**:

- Home based
- Flexible program
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Low caseload
- Opportunity for career progression
- Supportive Manager

**Requirements**:
To be eligible for this role, you must have a Social Work qualification and registration.

You must have knowledge of fostering regulations and standards.

A minimum of 1 to 2 years post qualifying experience in fostering or in other childcare settings.

Although the role is home-based, you will be expected to travel, so a valid Driving Licence is required.
