**THE ROLE**

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Caretaker/Facilities Assistant to work on our Rowde campus and sometimes our campus in Chippenham and Trowbridge.

You will be working with a supportive team and have a genuine passion for working with student with learning difficulties.

**The main duties of the role are**:

- Key holding, locking/unlocking
- Compliance including legionella, COSHH, asbestos and Fire Safety
- Repair and maintenance
- Assisting with Contractors on site
- Vehicle checks
- Porterage
- Room preparation for meetings and lettings
- Helping to uphold the health and safety of all users of the school

There may be some occasional weekend work required and possibility of additional Adhoc hours. The is a physical demanding role. We are a strong, supportive staff team, committed to high standards deliveries.

Silverwood School is a maintained co-educational special school for pupils aged 4-19 years. We formed in September 2020 with campuses in Chippenham, Trowbridge and Rowde.
