Mosaic Recruitment have a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a prestigious organisation based just outside of Hoddesdon. This position is part time and will require 22.5 hours per week, a commitment to working Tuesdays and Thursdays is essential.

The position will be working under the guidance of the Payroll Manager and will undertake a full range of administrative duties in order to provide smooth and efficient running of the department and provide a first-class service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Payroll Manager with the preparation and processing of Payroll, including all required reports and related administration i.e. posting to accounts and reconciliations
- Resolve internal and external queries regarding payroll in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate payroll records for employees; starters, leavers and contractual changes
- Processing changes and reporting on statutory deductions
- Assist with the correct processing, administration and reporting for pension scheme
- Assist Payroll Manager with preparation and distribution of; all required HMRC returns, including P35/P60 employers annual return or equivalent e.g. Real Time Reporting, annual pension returns, P11d expenses and benefits etc., all required information and reports in connection with the annual finance audit
- Deputising for the Payroll Manager, as required

- Experience in a Payroll Assistant role is essential
- Able to commit to 22.5 hours per week
- Available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Highly flexible and adaptable approach to working
- Ability to lead on allocated duties, projects and initiatives
- Proactive team player able to assist others within the department as and when required
