We have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Connection service. Connection is part of our Access to Mental Health Service and is a 24/7 helpline for people of all ages who are experiencing mental health problems.
As a team leader you will day-to-day manage, supervise individuals and lead the team of Connection Support Workers, Specialist Practitioners and Locums providing management support to staff. You will have the opportunity to develop the role to meet the needs of the teams and people who use the service. You will inspire and demonstrate leadership qualities through clear visible management, working with others, demonstration of personal qualities, continuous service improvement, and setting direction. You will have the ability to manage change through strategic thinking, use of negotiating skills, self-awareness, and effective communication.
This post is a full time post over the hours of Monday - Friday 9.00 - 17.00, a minimum of 30 hours will be considered. You will be based at St Ann’s hospital, flexible working will be considered as long as the service needs are met.
You will ensure adequate and safe staffing cover is maintained for patient care and maintain a professional portfolio and demonstrate that practice is up to date and evidence based.
As a Connection Team Leader you will ensure that pathway targets are delivered and escalating where increase in referrals or any potential to breach pathways may occur and take part in the investigation of untoward incidents and complaints.
Establish excellent communication with internal colleagues and the wider community, promote partnership working, develop and maintain a well-established network of contacts with colleagues at all levels within the organisation and with external organisations.
Maintaining and updating systems such as e-roster.
Be responsible for the return of quality audit/reports, ensuring learning is shared and actions taken.
