**SAW OPERATOR / FACTORY LABOURER**

A vacancy has arisen at Brancepeth Engineering for an experienced Saw Operator/Factory Labourer to join our team at Shildon.

Duties include:

- Unloading deliveries both manually and by Forklift Truck
- Cutting, deburring and preparing steel using an industrial saw and relevant tools.
- General Labour - assembling products, and other duties as required.
- Using hand tools such as drills
- Manual handling and moving stock around the factory
- General housekeeping of the area, making sure the area is kept safe to work in

Full training will be given.

The role is physical and involves some heavy lifting and would suit someone with previous knowledge and experience of working in a factory environment.

A COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT TRUCK LICENCE IS REQUIRED. knowledge and experience of using band saws preffered but not essential.

The role is full-time, with a dayshift working pattern:
Mon - Thurs 7.30am - 4.00pm

Friday - 7.30am - 1.30pm

The Rate of pay for this position is £12.45 per hour, rising to £12.85 per hour after completion of 3 months service.
